(Part Two of the article 'The Prospects of Higher Education Within the Context of Creativity & Individual Approach')
I’m more than sure that the future of higher education is closely connected with the ability of the teacher to recognize, encourage and extract unique personal traits and qualities of each student and use them as their strengths diversifying the educational process.
Just imagine how great it is to have a group of, let’s say 15 students, where every one is well aware of their own strengths, every one knows what they want from education, everyone knows what they want from their lives which is so rare in this day and age for one reason mainly – teachers are not encouraged enough to use individual approach in teaching, the instrument that will eventually change the direction of higher education on a much bigger scale, I’m talking about the idea and even fact considering its prospects that is able to impact the whole community of the academic world within the context of the whole planet.
And the secret is simple, it is as obvious as a day replacing the night and vice versa, the secret is passion. Yes, this simple word, passion, combined with the classic educational system gives us a magic formula and inevitable prospect of the future, the prospect that higher education has been waiting, without a doubt, for too long. But the good news is that this day has finally arrived.
If we connect the educational journey of each student with something we’ve been searching for, discovering and applying awakened passion that had been sleeping inside the young and eager to learn individuality with encouragement to do so from teachers’ point of view we will be on our way to experiencing big changes.
Passion is the key. When we learn with passion we are excited, we are intrigued, we are curious, we are hardworking, we are connecting with true selves and generate ideas that reflect our visions and personality which means that the catalog of our ideas is extending in a creative way and creates the library, this knowledge to get under our belts.
In time it develops a brand new signature way of thinking which forms the world around in a way we need. Examples? Apple, Microsoft, their teams knew well that passion, individual approach, creativity, chemistry, vision, trying new ideas give us the reality that forms and connects the world.
The future of higher education is understanding, that all we need for the prosperity of prospects of education, higher education, we already have but to bring it out in a way that speaks success we are here yet to accomplish.
