So the educational committee had a meeting and decided to rename my master’s work from “The Magic Of Being Creative or Unorthodox Ways of Connecting Your Passion In Life with English” into
'The Implementation of the Principle of Creativity in Teaching English'. Scoundrels:-)
ps: Good evening, Ladies & Gentlemen. I’m beginning to write the theoretical chapter and the topic is—you guessed it— “The Implementation Of The Principle Of Creativity In Teaching English”.
So, where shall I start? Hmm, let’s try this one - some people say that theory is quite important and in some way, is a universal building block of practice.
Others disagree and claim that theory and practice are two different things and things do not always happen according to theory.
Supposedly, the truth, as always, lies somewhere in between. But let’s have a look at this term and find out for ourselves.
So, theory is “an idea or set of ideas that is intended to explain why something happens or how it works”, or, to put it simply (in essence) “it’s the idea that explains why something happens”.
As far as the ‘Implementation’ term is concerned, it means “carrying out or putting into practice”, which makes it friendlier for us to grasp the essence of the meaning.
And now let’s turn our attention to the ‘Principle’, a term that can be interpreted as “a rule that explains how something works”, or in other words, “an idea that something is based on”, which leads us directly to
‘Creativity’, that is “the ability to use your imagination” or, interpreted another way - “the ability to produce new original ideas and things; imagination and inventiveness”. And because these things hadn’t existed before you created them it’s like attaining them literally from nothing - well, my English professor was wrong after all, magic does exist! :-)
