(Stories From a Shabby Sea Chest or What I Scribbled In Between English Classes)

“A Deadly Blow"

...rolling up your sleeves and brandishing an utmost desire to get rid of the mossy, skulky, scowling little creatures who inhabit the forests of our mind, from time to time striding here and there, scathing their shrieks of disgruntled sneers skulkily around, thuggishly trying to discredit bright aspiring pupils' ambitions to reunite with their beloved friend Mr. English, gingerly imploring their dark master to let them have a free ride on using their clenched fists threatening the students' courage to capitulate before receiving a deadly blow - uppercut in the stomach from a nonplussed academic prodigious scholar - a brave chap, who makes sure the dark forces are kept at bay - somewhere in a corner of the boxing ring, gasping for breath, feebly trying to save face by crawling away in a limpy, low profile fashion.

“Like a Hungry Piranha, Looking For a Goldfish of Knowledge"

...reinventing the opening of the third dimension of passion that allows Mr. English to glide smoothly through the slippery waters somewhere between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, going from the southern coast of the Caribbean Sea - in the north to Tierra del Fuego - in the south passing by the Andes Mountains, the Amazon River and the large areas of tropical rainforest; just like a hungry piranha, looking for its new dexterous wise goldfish of knowledge and plunging its fangs into the fragile, nutrition-friendly mass of opportunities.

“The Unicorn Of Luck"

...riding the obedient unicorn of luck maneuvering pass the sticky scowls of feeble misfortunes whose uninspiring attempts to clench their jaws in an attempt to bite the precious knowledge off the aspiring students seem to lose their menacing murk; and having a nice bath in the refreshing elixir of English afterwards.
